Remanufactured Transmission 18 MONTH limited warranty

Remanufactured transmissions are warranted by TRANSMISSION EXCHANGE CO. against defects in material and workmanship for a period of eighteen months. In addition a freight and labor warranty is provided for the first six months. The warranty period begins on the date of delivery and applies to the party appearing on TRANSMISSION EXCHANGE CO's original invoice.

THIS WARRANTY IS LIMITED TO REPLACING THE TRANSMISSION OR PARTS THEREOF WHICH UPON OUR EXAMINATION PROVE TO BE DEFECTIVE. IT DOES NOT COVER BREAKING OF GEARS CASTINGS OR SPRAGS, DAMAGE RESULTING FROM ABUSE, FAULTY INSTALLATION OR OPERATION OF ANY PART NOT FURNISHED WITH THE TRANSMISSION OR ACCIDENT.

In order to make a claim for adjustment under this warranty the purchaser must return the transmission to TRANSMISSION EXCHANGE CO. within the warranty period transportation charges prepaid, for inspection. Should the transmission be accepted as defective it will be repaired at no charge and returned freight collect. Should the transmission be returned within SIX months and be accepted as defective TRANSMISSION EXCHANGE CO. will pay for labor time as listed as 'warranty time' in the current issue of 'Motor Manual' under 'remove and replace' as per the make year and model at a rate of one half the prevailing Portland labor rates and freight (if any) up to $125.00 (USD). TRANSMISSION EXCHANGE CO. will not pay for towing rental vehicles lost time or any damages other than those to the transmission itself. All warranty reimbursements will be made to the party appearing on the original invoice only.

THIS WARRANTY IS VOID IF THE TRANSMISSION SHALL HAVE BEEN RUN WITHOUT OIL OR RACED OR USED IN ANY APPLICATION OTHER THAN THAT FOR WHICH IT WAS INTENDED OR SHALL HAVE BEEN REPAIRED OR ALTERED OUTSIDE OF THE TRANSMISSION EXCHANGE CO. FACILITY. NO FREIGHT OR LABOR CLAIMS WILL BE HONORED AFTER SIX MONTHS.

NOTE: All TRANSMISSION EXCHANGE CO transmissions are built to TRANSMISSION EXCHANGE CO. standards and specifications only. We reserve the right to substitute OEM parts with after-market parts and to change specifications to facilitate interchangeability and/or improve durability.

Remanufactured transmissions are warranted by TRANSMISSION EXCHANGE CO. against defects in material and workmanship for a period of three years with the purchase of this extended warranty. The warranty period begins on the date of delivery and applies to the party appearing on TRANSMISSION EXCHANGE CO's original invoice. This extended warranty may not be purchased after the delivery date. a TEC Protection kit with cooler as prescribed for the transmission and vehicle combination must be purchased with all automatic transmissions covered by this warranty and must be properly installed.

In order to make a claim for adjustment under this warranty the purchaser must return the transmission to TRANSMISSION EXCHANGE CO. within the warranty period transportation charges prepaid, for inspection. On automatic transmissions the cooler and inline filter must be returned with the transmission for inspection Should the transmission be accepted as defective it will be repaired at no charge and returned freight collect. Should the transmission be returned and be accepted as defective TRANSMISSION EXCHANGE CO. will pay for labor time as listed as 'warranty time' in the current issue of 'Motor Manual' under 'remove and replace' as per the make year and model at a rate of one half the prevailing Portland labor rates and freight (if any) up to $125.00 (USD).
